In 1996 I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Painting. I was 49yrs old and ready to start an exciting art career. That was 10 yrs ago. I have had a lengthy illness and have not painted. Im back to give it another try. Please watch my return as I will take awkward baby steps,every day, until the passion, skill and love returns. After a ten year break from painting, I have decided it is time to return. I had Cushings Disease which only occurs in one in a million people. It took away strength, passion and ability to pursue my painting. My goal is to post something art related every day or two. My love is figure, portraits and abstracts. Having seen others who blog and paint has inspired me. I want to regain what I have lost. I may trip and fall, but its like learning to walk again. I have to start somewhere.
